Stage #1: The “Look” Stage
First is the “Look” stage where people are just checking things out. They are looking at the church and people in the church. They may or may not want to be a part of what they see. Moses and the burning bush is the perfect example. Moses was by the bush. At first, he just looked and checked it out.
Stage #2: The “Like” Stage
Second is the “Like” Stage where people have checked things out and they like what they see. They are interested in being around you and God’s people. They are not making any commitments or lifestyle changes, but they are definitely interested. People in this stage don’t mind being around you or being seen with you. This is a favor element.
Stage #3: The “Live” Stage
Third is the “Live” Stage where people now want to be saved. They have made a decision to live as a Christian. They want to be identified as a Christian and tell others about their decision to live for Christ.
Stage #4: The “Love” Stage
Fourth is the “Love” stage where people have made a decision for Christ and now want to be a disciple. They are committed to praying, reading the Bible, going to church, fellowshipping with other Christians and being a good steward with their time, talents and treasures. They are living a lifestyle that reflects their decision for God. They have such a love and appreciation for God that they are looking to deepen their walk and live at a new level of spiritual intensity.
Stage #5: The “Lead” Stage
Fifth is the “Lead” stage where people walk this out and help others. They sharpen their lives so they can be a witness and example to others. They are committed to leading with a cause so that others come to Christ and desire to be disciples.
